ASV Farms has appointed George Erasmus as the company’s Export Manager. George has been in this newly created post since the start of September 2016 and is assisting the market team to prepare for the forthcoming harvest.
Prior to joining ASV Farms George had worked in the retail sector and was based in Dubai for 5 years. He has also previously worked with other grape grower-shippers who shipped grapes out of South Africa. “I am excited to have joined the ASV Viljoen team as I believe that the grower-shipper model works well within this industry.”
“Our business is growing and we are also expanding our capacity to deal with this,” says Anton Viljoen Jr. “The appointment of an Export Manager is part of this process and will provide the necessary capacity dedicated to managing key accounts with our receivers. George has the experience in this field that we require and is already making a difference to our marketing team.”
