ASV Farms Prosper Fair unit manager Leon Nel won the Second Prize in Young Block division of the 2016 Hex River Valley Block Competition. This was for a young block of Sweet Sapphire from IFG. We are lucky and grateful that at a time when many parts of South Africa are suffering from a serious drought, our region received sufficient rain during the winter months in order to provide us with good water security during for the harvest in our dry summer season.

We have also started harvesting Prime Seedless this week. The crop is looking great.

Our harvest has started in the Hex River Valley and the earliest variety is Starlight.

We are excited to present our range of new cartons for the current season. We look forward to presenting our quality fruit in these attractive new cartons.  

ASV Farms has just taken delivery of 85000 new vines that have arrived at the farms in the Hex River ready to be planted. The varieties include some of the exciting new varieties and some of the established stars. Crimson, Melody, Allison, ARRA 15 and Sweet Celebration. This is an investment in our future!
